Free Gift Box for your EasyStitch Bookmarks

I’ve created this free gift box template as a little extra for you, because sometimes it’s those finishing touches that make all the difference.

Whether you’re gifting your bookmarks, selling at markets, or just want that polished, professional look, this simple box transforms your EasyStitch bookmarks into something really special.

It’s quick to make, beginner friendly, and designed to fit your EasyStitch bookmark beautifully.

✂️ What You’ll Need

• Your free SVG/template download
• Cricut or Silhouette machine
• Heavy cardstock or craft board
• Faux leather bookmark (of course!)
• Glue tape or adhesive

🛠 Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Upload the SVG from Design Space

Download your free template, then open Cricut Design Space and upload the SVG file.

Add it to your canvas.

2. Check Your Size First

Before doing anything else, click on the test square included in the file.

👉 This should measure 1 inch (2.54 cm).

If it doesn’t, stop here and fix the sizing before continuing.

3. Ungroup Your Design

Select your design and click Ungroup so you can work with each piece individually.

4. Set Score Lines

Locate the layer with the solid lines.

• Change from Basic Cut → Score
• You’ll see the lines change to dashed lines

5. Attach Score Lines to the Card

Select the main box piece and the score lines

Then click Attach.

👉 This ensures your machine scores in the correct place.

7. Cut Your Pieces

Click Make and cut your design using:

• Heavy cardstock or craft board for the box

8. Fold Along Score Lines

Carefully fold along all scored lines to shape your box.

Nice clean folds will make a big difference to your finished look.

9. Assemble the Box

Apply glue tape or adhesive along one side tab.

Fold the other side over and press firmly to secure.

Then fold in the bottom tabs to secure and form the base

10. Add Your Bookmark Insert

Slide your faux leather bookmark into the insert piece.

This centre section is perfect for:

• Your logo
• A message
• Personalisation

11. Finish & Gift 🎉

Slide everything into the box and you’re done.

A simple make that turns your bookmark into a beautiful, ready-to-gift piece.
