Q1. What is Maisie Moo Design?

Maisie Moo Design creates SVG templates, PDF patterns and Easy Stitch™ faux leather projects for Cricut, Silhouette and other cutting or laser machines. My designs are made to help makers craft and sell beautiful handmade bows, bags, keychains, covers and more with clear instructions and friendly support.

Q2. Can I sell the items I make from your designs?

Yes, absolutely. You are welcome to sell the finished physical items you make from Maisie Moo designs on a small business scale, at markets, in your online shop or in person. Many of my customers use my designs to create their next best-seller.

What you can’t do is:
• sell, share or give away the digital files themselves
• create physical dies or templates
• use my photos or branding in your own listings

Q3. Do I need a Cricut or Silhouette machine to use your files?

Most designs are created with cutting machines such as Cricut or Silhouette in mind, using SVG files.
However, many people also use ScanNCut machines or laser machines like Glowforge.
Many patterns also include PDF templates so you can cut by hand. Each product listing clearly notes whether it includes SVG, PDF, PNG or a combination.

Q4. What is the Easy Stitch range? Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes! The Easy Stitch range is designed especially for beginners and busy makers. These projects use simple shapes, pre-cut stitch holes and step-by-step instructions (often with video tutorials) so you can get neat results even if you’re new to sewing faux leather.

Q5. What file types are included with your designs?

Most Maisie Moo designs include SVG files for cutting machines and PNG preview images. Many also include a printable PDF template. Please check the “What’s included” section of each product listing for the exact file types provided.

Q6. What materials do I need for faux leather projects?

For most projects you’ll need faux leather or vegan leather, a cutting machine or sharp scissors, matching thread, clips or pegs, and any hardware listed in the pattern such as key rings, snaps, elastic or magnets.
I recommend good-quality craft faux leather around 0.8–1.2 mm thick for best results.
I also have many makers who use real leather successfully with my designs.

Q7. Can I resize the patterns?

Yes, you can usually resize SVG designs within your cutting software to make items larger or smaller. Just keep an eye on tiny details like holes, tabs and stitch lines – if you scale down a lot, you may need to simplify or test first. For Easy Stitch projects, I suggest making a test piece at the original size before adjusting.

Q8. Do you provide tutorials or support if I get stuck?

Many designs include photo or video tutorials, and I’m always adding more. You’ll find links in the product description or PDF. You’re also very welcome to join the Maisie Moo Facebook group to share your makes and ask questions – it’s a friendly community of makers ready to help.

Q9. Can I use your designs in classes or workshops?

You’re welcome to use my designs when teaching a small, in-person class, as long as each student purchases their own copy of the pattern or you obtain permission for a class licence. Please contact me if you’d like to run regular workshops using Maisie Moo designs.

Resale and mass-production of Maisie Moo Design’s is strictly prohibited in any form. This design can not be resold as a digital file, cutting die or plastic template. Any modifications to this design are strictly prohibited and covered by copyright.

NEED A COMMERCIAL LICENSE?
No you won't! I will happily support you and your small business and you are welcome to use your Maisie Moo™ templates to create lots of pretty bows to sell. However, if you intend on using in larger scale businesses or in mass production you will require a commercial license, just flick me an Etsy convo or email and I'll get you set up with a reserved listing.
