Sometimes the simplest ideas turn out to be the most fun to design.
My newest release is this Alphabet Book Band set, and I had an absolute ball creating it. Every single letter of the alphabet has been carefully designed so you can personalise your makes with initials, whether that’s for yourself, a friend, or someone special. It took a little while to put together (26 letters is no small task!) but it was totally worth it.
These sweet little book bands wrap neatly around your book and double as a bookmark, keeping your place safe while adding a lovely handmade touch.
They’re also a fantastic scrap-buster project. If you’re anything like me, you probably have a little stash of faux leather offcuts that are too pretty to throw away but too small for bigger projects. These are perfect for that!
What Makes These Book Bands So Fun
This design has a three-layer letter detail on the front, giving a lovely dimensional look. The letter sits neatly on top of two sandwiched layers that hold an elastic band inside, allowing the band to stretch around your book and hold your place securely.
