🧵 How to Make Your Dino Tooth Fairy Pillow
This design is part of my Easy Stitch range — meaning it’s beginner-friendly and fun for all ages. Here’s a quick overview of how it comes together (your full illustrated instructions are included with your download):
-
Cut Out Your Pieces – Use your cutting machine and the SVG file to cut your faux leather pieces. The design includes pre-cut stitch holes for easy hand sewing. If you prefer to machine stitch or glue, use the no-hole version included in your files. Always do a small test cut first to ensure your settings suit your material.
-
Sew the Features – Start by stitching on the little details: eyes, cheek, teeth, and the front pocket for the tooth.

-
Add the Hands – Use a straight stitch and leave the edges free — they’ll get caught when you sew around the body later.
-
Assemble Your Dino – Sew around the outer edge, adding the spikes as you go. Leave a small gap for stuffing.
-
Stuff and Stitch – Add polyfill until your dino looks plump and even, then close the gap.

-
Finishing Touches – Add a ribbon loop if you’d like it to hang, and some heat-transfer vinyl (HTV) for a custom touch.
Once your dino is finished, print the included Tooth Fairy Certificate and Poem, and you’re ready for the big visit from the fairy herself!
More detailed photo instructions are included in your PDF download — no need to guess!
