I’m so excited to introduce the newest addition to the Maisie Moo 'Easy Stitch' range, the Clara Zipper Pouch! This little cutie is perfect for anyone who loves creating with faux leather but prefers to hand stitch.
The Clara is uniquely designed with precut holes, making it super easy to hand stitch together. All you need is a needle, some embroidery thread or waxed cord, and you’re good to go! If you’re like me and love a project that’s both fun and rewarding, this one’s definitely for you.
The pouch requires a lightweight 7" plastic coil zipper, but don't freak out at sewing on zips, this is really easy and hand sewn too! And for those of you who prefer to use a sewing machine, don’t worry—I’ve got you covered! I’ve included a 'no holes' template so you can stitch it up on your machine instead.
I’ve also created an instructional video to walk you through the assembly process. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, you’ll find the steps easy to follow.
The Clara Zipper Pouch is made from standard A4-sized faux leather, so there’s no need to hunt for specialty materials. I used a pretty faux leather sheet from Jewel Box Supplies You can resize the template to suit your needs, but just keep in mind those stitch holes!
Finished dimensions are approximately 7" wide x 5" high and 1.5" deep—perfect for makeup, small essentials, or anything else you need to keep handy.
