Every year around this time my Bat Pinch Bow swoops back into the spotlight. It’s one of those designs that never seems to go out of style, and this season I decided to give it a fun twist. I’ve resized the original bow into a two-piece pigtail set plus a regular sized bow, displayed them together on a custom display card, and the result is the sweetest three-bow set – perfect for Halloween dress-ups, parties, or just adding a little spooky cute to everyday wear.
If you’ve been following me on Instagram or Facebook, you might have seen my latest reel where I show how to put this set together. It’s quick, fun, and a great way to use up those smaller cuts of faux leather.
What You’ll Need
To make this three-bow set, you’ll need the Bat Pinch Bow template, which you can grab from my Etsy shop or here on the website. Once you’ve got the file, you’ll need to resize it on your cutting machine to create the different bows in the set:

Regular bow – I’ve resized the largest bow in the set to 4 inches wide (wingspan).

Pigtail bows – These are resized down to 2.6 inches wide (wingspan) each.
Along with the template, here are the other supplies I used:

Quality faux leather – solid colors or Halloween prints work great.

Hot glue and Loctite Super Glue Gel – a strong combo to keep everything secure.

Alligator clips – I used both small (1.2") and medium (2.2") sizes.

Display card – I added text using Cricut’s pen tool, but Print Then Cut also works beautifully. Use heavy cardstock.
That’s all you need to create a professional-looking Halloween bow set that’s fun to make, gift, or sell.
The Free Display Card
To finish off the set, I created a display card that I’m giving away free. It’s the perfect way to present your bows for gifting or selling. Add your own text or logo using print and cut or your pen tool (as I have done) on my Cricut.
