Such a fun craft that we used at 2 family reunions! We used real leather, so we altered a bit, using a piece for the face that we folded over the top of the head for our second color. This was held in place by the rivets that were already part of the design.
I prepped ahead by precutting 80 rectangles of leather scraps about the right size and cutting templates for tracing out of cereal boxes.
Of course, my sister insisted on turning the fox into a cute little skunk!
This was a great craft to get the generations mingling and cousins talking who hadn't seen each other in a decade. A non- threatening way to get the communication flowing.
